What size dining table do I need?
Allow about 24 inches of table edge per person and at least 36 inches between the table and the wall or sideboard for chairs to pull out. A table 79 inches long seats six comfortably; 94 inches seats eight. Most tables here come in several lengths, and many extend.
Which top is right: glass, ceramic, marble or wood?
Ceramic is the most forgiving: it resists heat, scratches and stains and needs no sealing. Marble is the warmest to look at and asks for coasters. Glass keeps a room open and shows fingerprints. Wood is the most traditional and the easiest to refinish. We have samples of each at the showrooms and can mail them.
How long does a dining table take to arrive?
Dining tables are made to order and typically ship in 12–16 weeks. We deliver white-glove to all 48 contiguous states: the table is carried in, assembled and leveled in place, and the packaging taken away.
