SLIDE uses color, shape and light to give furniture an immediate presence. Based in the Milan area, the Italian brand is closely associated with rotationally molded polyethylene and a collection that moves between seating, tables, lighting and decorative pieces. Its forms can be playful, architectural or deliberately oversized.
For a home, SLIDE can define a terrace, make a welcoming entrance or introduce a distinct accent into a living space. In a larger project, related colors and forms can connect several areas. Italcasa Design can help compare dimensions, finishes and the suitability of a selected version for indoor, outdoor or illuminated use.
Families grouped the way the factory builds them — pick one and we'll configure it to your room.
Giò Colonna Romano's Amore turns lettering into a functional bench. The Italian word for love becomes a continuous sculptural form, giving an entrance, terrace or shared space an unmistakable focal point. Compare the available finish and version with the intended setting, particularly when considering an illuminated model or an outdoor installation.

SLIDE primarily works with rotationally molded polyethylene, with other materials and selected recycled or alternative compositions across the collection. Check the material specification for the exact product and finish.
Giò Colonna Romano designed Amore. Its form spells the Italian word for love and turns the lettering into a sculptural seat.
Many SLIDE products have outdoor applications, but suitability depends on the model, finish and lighting version. Confirm the manufacturer's current requirements for exposure, care and installation before placing a piece outside.
Selected designs have illuminated versions. They need to be specified separately from standard versions, including the light source, power connection and suitability for the intended location. Ask to compare the available U.S. configuration.

Founded by Giò Colonna Romano in 2002, SLIDE developed an identity through strong forms, color and the possibilities of molded materials. Its home in the Milan area connects the brand with a wider design and manufacturing culture. In a room or terrace, the collection works best when scale is considered carefully. A bold seat can establish a gathering point, while a smaller object can introduce color into a quieter arrangement.
Rotationally molded polyethylene is central to SLIDE's production. The process allows continuous sculptural forms across furniture and lighting, while selected collections explore recycled or other alternative materials. Choose by the specification of the actual piece rather than assuming the whole range uses the same composition. For illuminated designs, also review power access, lighting components and the requirements of the intended indoor or outdoor location.
The Amore bench translates a word into seating, while collections such as Low Lita, Mara and Kami explore other relationships between shape and comfort. SLIDE also offers lighting families that can create atmosphere around a seating arrangement. For a coherent scheme, choose a limited palette and compare the footprints of the pieces together. Confirm the outdoor suitability and care requirements of each selected version before planning an exposed setting.
SLIDE's founder Giò Colonna Romano designed the Amore bench, and the brand's wider collaborations include Paola Navone, Marc Sadler and Favaretto & Partners. Each brings a different approach to a material language that supports bold, continuous forms. When choosing a piece, consider both its sculptural effect and the way it will be used. The best match should feel intentional within the architecture and comfortable for its purpose.
