Planters.
Slide Design Giò includes oversized planters by Giò Colonna Romano that enlarge the familiar round flowerpot.
Broad rims and tapered polyethylene bodies connect Big Giò, Giò Tondo and the 210 cm-wide Giò Monster. Deep planting recesses sit within these substantial forms. Standard, lacquered and luminous versions offer different surface treatments for indoor and outdoor planting arrangements at architectural scale.
Giò Colonna Romano is an industrial engineer, designer and entrepreneur who founded SLIDE. His product work draws on knowledge of plastics and rotational molding. The manufacturer's collection includes his illuminated furniture and household objects, developed from familiar forms and attention to how pieces can be used.
