What we collect
Your account. You sign in with your Google or Apple account — we never see or store a password. When you create an account, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your sign-in provider. You may add a phone number to your profile if you choose.
Trade applications. If you apply for our Trade Program, we collect your business name, website, a short description of your practice, and any verification document you upload. Uploaded documents are stored privately and are visible only to our team.
Your requests. When you request a quote, ask a question about a piece, or request design files or a physical sample, we keep the request and its details — including the quantity, your message, and, for sample requests, the shipping address you provide — so we can respond and so you can review your request history in your account.
Design project inquiries. If you start a design project through our site, we collect the contact details you provide so a member of our team can reach you about your project. We use them for that purpose only — starting a project will never sign you up for marketing.
Contact and newsletter. If you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address so we can reply or send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
Saved items. Your saved items and wishlists are private to your account. If you choose to share a wishlist, anyone who has the share link can view the items on that list (but not your account details). You can stop sharing at any time by deleting the list's share link.
Browsing and search. We log the searches visitors run on our site, without connecting them to your identity, so we can improve our catalog. Your recently viewed pieces are remembered in your own browser, not on our servers.
Errors. If something on our site fails to work for you, the site records what failed, on which page and on what kind of device (for example, an iPhone using Safari), so we can fix it. That record is not connected to your identity: it holds no name, account or IP address.
How we use your information
We use the information above to respond to your requests, prepare your tailored quote, verify and approve trade applications, notify you about your requests and your account, and improve our catalog and site. That's it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send unsolicited marketing. Emails from us are either replies to you, updates about your requests and account, or a newsletter you asked for.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information and request history for as long as your account is active, so you and our team can refer back to past quotes and conversations. If you close your account or ask us to delete your information, we will delete it except where we need to keep a record for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile and requests from your account at any time. To access, correct, or delete your personal information, email us at design@italcasa.us and we'll take care of it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Children
Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Meaningful changes will be noted on this page.
