Moroso Lilo includes lounge chairs, a chaise lounge and a footstool by Patricia Urquiola, with exposed wooden frames around padded steel shells.
Varnished ash supports the armchairs and ottoman, while the chaise uses a sculpted solid-oak base following its reclining curve. Lilo Wing adds a broad upper headrest to the lounge-chair outline. Fixed fabric or leather covers emphasize the upholstered sections, leaving the arms and angled wooden supports visible.
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and Lissoni before opening her Milan studio in 2001. Her practice encompasses industrial design, architecture, interiors and art direction, including collaborations with Moroso, Flos, Driade and Cappellini.
