Moroso Pebble Rubble is a seating and footstool family by Front based on scanned rock forms from Swedish forests.
Rounded sofa elements combine belted wood-based seats with padded Polimex backs, using removable fabric covers. Prescribed linking positions and separate connection sets shape larger arrangements, while suitable elements can stand freely. Three freestanding footstool shapes use padded Polimex bodies with fixed covers, continuing the rock-like forms alongside the seating.
Front is the Swedish design studio of Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren. They develop projects together through discussion, research and experimentation. Their objects often examine materials and the design process itself, with work involving methods such as computer-assisted making, robotics and unconventional approaches to shaping furniture.
