Moroso Doodle includes a sofa and armchair by Front with embroidered leather shells that curl outward at the arms.
Sketch-like stitched lines spread across the curved surfaces in tonal or contrasting thread. Polyurethane foam and polyester fiber pad resin-and-steel structures above leather-covered tubular-steel legs. The armchair folds the pattern around one seat, while the sofa extends the embroidered back into a wider continuous form; upholstery remains fixed on both.
Front is the Swedish design studio of Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren. They develop projects together through discussion, research and experimentation. Their objects often examine materials and the design process itself, with work involving methods such as computer-assisted making, robotics and unconventional approaches to shaping furniture.
