Moroso Fjord includes sculpted chairs, stools, ottomans and beam seating by Patricia Urquiola, with split or asymmetric outlines.
Padded steel-framed seats appear on sled supports, while the tall Relax armchair uses a swivel base. The H chair changes to a technopolymer shell. Stools add footrests, and beam configurations combine individual seats with optional HPL table sections. Separate polyurethane ottomans carry the curved geometry onto low plastic bases.
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and Lissoni before opening her Milan studio in 2001. Her practice encompasses industrial design, architecture, interiors and art direction, including collaborations with Moroso, Flos, Driade and Cappellini.
