Driade Pip-e includes Philippe Starck’s slatted chair and armchair with a coordinating small table.
Stackable polypropylene seating is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with horizontal slats curving over the front of the seat. The table uses an aluminum support and circular base beneath a rounded top. Glass, ceramic and sycamore top versions extend the material choices, with the wood surface reserved for indoor settings and other specified versions suitable outside.
Philippe Starck's collaboration with Emeco began after he used the manufacturer's Navy chairs in the Paramount Hotel. The partnership produced collections including Hudson, Heritage, Kong, Icon and Broom. These projects are part of his broader furniture design work and explore industrial materials and production methods.
