Driade Verlaine includes an asymmetric sofa and matching ottoman by Lievore Altherr Molina.
Curved Polimex and MDF structures carry layered polyurethane padding above wooden feet, with removable upholstery following the shaped bodies. The sofa’s sloping back comes in left- and right-hand versions and is accompanied by a feather-blend lumbar cushion. The ottoman extends the same organic outline into a broad companion piece for arranging an indoor seating area.
Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina formed their Barcelona studio in 1991. Their work includes furniture, interiors, packaging, consulting and art direction. The studio combines product development with teaching and collaborations for manufacturers in Spain, Italy and the United States.
