Armchairs and decorative objects.
Driade Nemo includes Fabio Novembre’s face-shaped armchairs and decorative miniature versions.
Full-size molded polyethylene chairs enclose the seat behind a tall mask with eye openings; the range includes fixed, swivel and recycled-polyethylene versions. Several fixed models suit indoor and outdoor settings. One-to-eight-scale miniatures reproduce the chair as a shelf or tabletop object, with polyethylene and ABS-based treatments. The miniatures preserve the facial form while serving a different purpose from the full-size seating.
Fabio Novembre studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and opened his own studio in 1994. His work spans interior architecture, planning, industrial design and graphics. He has also taught, lectured and served on design juries, bringing experience from several design scales to furniture and spatial projects.
