Driade Roly Poly includes Faye Toogood’s armchair and sofa with bowl-shaped seats and broad cylindrical legs.
Rotationally molded polyethylene creates the low, continuous bodies, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The armchair concentrates the rounded form around a single seat, while the sofa extends it into a wider shell. Optional seat-and-back cushions follow the curves of each design and are intended for indoor settings.
Faye Toogood is a British designer working with furniture and objects. Her practice emphasizes experimentation with materials, sculptural forms and collaboration with artisans. For Driade, she created the Roly Poly seating collection, translating rounded seats and cylindrical legs into pieces that connect furniture design with sculpture.
