Emeco Hudson includes chairs, stools, rockers and swivel work chairs designed by Philippe Starck for New York’s Hudson Hotel.
Handcrafted recycled aluminum carries a simplified interpretation of the Navy chair through armless and armchair versions. Stools provide counter and bar seating, while desk models add height adjustment, tilt and tension controls. Hand-brushed and polished surfaces are offered across the range. Outdoor suitability applies to specified hand-brushed fixed-base and rocking models, rather than to the collection as a whole.
Philippe Starck's collaboration with Emeco began after he used the manufacturer's Navy chairs in the Paramount Hotel. The partnership produced collections including Hudson, Heritage, Kong, Icon and Broom. These projects are part of his broader furniture design work and explore industrial materials and production methods.
