Emeco 2 Inch tables by Jasper Morrison combine a rounded-square aluminum column with either a flat base or an X base.
The range spans café, counter and bar heights, with round, square and rectangular tops in several sizes. Aluminum, ash, walnut and Accoya surfaces provide different material combinations; aluminum and Accoya tops allow outdoor use. X-base versions include leveling glides for uneven floors. The shared column profile coordinates tables across dining and standing-height settings.
Jasper Morrison is a designer whose furniture work includes Emeco's Alfi, 1 Inch, Navy Lounge and Navy Officer collections. His collaboration with the manufacturer brings together material choices, engineering and detailed development. He also co-curated the Super Normal exhibition presented in Tokyo in 2006.
