Emeco SU stools and tables by Nendo use straightforward forms with a range of material combinations.
Backless stools carry the familiar Emeco seat shape in cork, reclaimed oak or recycled plastic, supported by aluminum or solid oak legs. Café and low tables offer round or square tops in aluminum or wood. Outdoor use requires the specified aluminum-base combinations with suitable seats or tops. Fitted recycled-PET felt pads and replacement glides are separate accessories for the seating.
Nendo is the design studio established by Oki Sato in 2002 after he completed architecture studies at Waseda University in Tokyo. The practice works across products, furniture, graphics, installations, interiors and architecture. Its projects often connect observations of everyday life with the development of objects and spaces.
