Flos KTribe includes Philippe Starck’s table, floor and pendant lights with layered diffusers.
An opal inner element sits inside a broader outer shade, with glass, PMMA or fabric treatments depending on the indoor model. Replaceable bulbs and dedicated dimming arrangements provide adjustable diffused illumination. The separate F3 Outdoor lamp uses a woven PVC outer shade, polycarbonate inner diffuser and treated aluminum support, adapting the recognizable layered form for exterior use.
Philippe Starck's collaboration with Emeco began after he used the manufacturer's Navy chairs in the Paramount Hotel. The partnership produced collections including Hudson, Heritage, Kong, Icon and Broom. These projects are part of his broader furniture design work and explore industrial materials and production methods.
