Flos Bellhop is Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby’s lighting family built around a domed head.
It includes rechargeable table lamps, opaline-glass table and pendant designs, ceiling lights, an indirect floor lamp and outdoor wall or bollard fixtures. Materials and power arrangements change with the format: portable polycarbonate versions use batteries, glass models take replaceable bulbs, and outdoor metal fixtures use integrated LEDs. Indoor Wall Up models provide another direction of light with their upward-facing diffusers.
Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby work together on furniture and product design. Their On and On collection for Emeco explores the use of recycled PET in a stacking café chair. The collaboration connects the chair's structure and arrangement for storage with material selection and future recycling.
