Floor lamps.
Flos Arco includes Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni’s arched floor lamp and the transparent-base Arco K edition.
A telescopic stainless-steel stem carries a swiveling aluminum reflector above the floor, allowing overhead light without a ceiling suspension. Standard Arco uses a Carrara marble base and includes replaceable-bulb and integrated-LED versions. Arco K instead exposes the lower structure through K9 crystal glass, retaining the adjustable reflector and sweeping stem with an E26 bulb.
Architects Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni worked together in Milan on exhibitions, products and architecture. Their collaboration continued until Pier Giacomo's death in 1968. Lighting designs such as Arco connect research into industrial production with practical observations about how everyday objects are used.
