Armchairs and dining tables.
Driade Lord Yi / Lord Yo brings Philippe Starck’s compact pedestal tables together with his enclosing armchair.
Lord Yi combines cast-aluminum bases and slender aluminum stems with round or square tops, including marble surfaces. Lord Yo uses a polypropylene shell above slightly arched aluminum legs and is stackable for indoor or outdoor use. A separate cotton chair cover offers another treatment of the seating, while the tables retain their three-part pedestal construction.
Philippe Starck's collaboration with Emeco began after he used the manufacturer's Navy chairs in the Paramount Hotel. The partnership produced collections including Hudson, Heritage, Kong, Icon and Broom. These projects are part of his broader furniture design work and explore industrial materials and production methods.
