Moroso Big Easy includes rounded armchairs and a two-seat sofa by Ron Arad, linked by oversized arms and rising curved backs.
Soft Big Easy and Double Soft Big Easy use polyurethane padding over steel frames with fixed upholstery. The unupholstered Big Easy instead forms the entire body in rotationally molded polyethylene for outdoor use. Its recessed seat preserves the sculptural outline while changing the construction from padded framing to a molded shell.
Ron Arad studied in Jerusalem and at London's Architectural Association. He co-founded One Off with Caroline Thorman in 1981 and established Ron Arad Associates in 1989. His practice combines architecture, industrial products and studio furniture, with experimentation in materials including steel, aluminum and polyamide.
