Moroso Tender includes sofas and beds by Patricia Urquiola with slim aluminum frames below generous upholstered forms.
Selected sofas place backs and arms at opposing ends, using tensioned mesh beneath the padded seats. Beds use upholstered wooden mattress platforms and ash-covered cast-aluminum legs. Their cushioned headboards have two height settings for different mattress thicknesses. Removable covers follow both the seating and sleeping forms, while exposed supports keep the frame visible beneath the padding.
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and Lissoni before opening her Milan studio in 2001. Her practice encompasses industrial design, architecture, interiors and art direction, including collaborations with Moroso, Flos, Driade and Cappellini.
