Moroso Silver Lake includes sofas, armchairs and an ottoman by Patricia Urquiola with exposed powder-coated steel arms and supports.
Polyurethane and polyester padding cover wooden structures within the angular frames. Sofas offer several widths with upholstered side panels, while small, low-back and high-back chairs add a choice of upholstered or oak sides. The backless ottoman continues the padded treatment with upholstered panels and fixed covers matching the seating.
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and Lissoni before opening her Milan studio in 2001. Her practice encompasses industrial design, architecture, interiors and art direction, including collaborations with Moroso, Flos, Driade and Cappellini.
