Moroso Pheaby includes dining chairs and stools by Patricia Urquiola with trestle-like solid-ash supports beneath rounded upholstered forms.
Birch-plywood seats and backs carry polyurethane padding, with belts supporting the seat. Armed and armless chair versions change the surrounding outline. Counter- and bar-height stools add powder-coated steel footrests, while fixed upholstery and replaceable glide inserts connect the different seating formats through shared construction details.
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and Lissoni before opening her Milan studio in 2001. Her practice encompasses industrial design, architecture, interiors and art direction, including collaborations with Moroso, Flos, Driade and Cappellini.
