Sofas, armchairs and coffee tables.
Moroso Gogan includes sofas, an armchair and occasional tables by Patricia Urquiola with irregular forms inspired by water-smoothed stones.
Low padded backs balance above rounded seats in complete sofas and larger compositions. Tables pair marble or treated tempered-glass tops with laminated ash supports linked by steel. Shiny Gogan develops the same rounded geometry in a glossy lacquered polymer-and-wood composite body with MDF legs, offered in two low-table formats.
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and Lissoni before opening her Milan studio in 2001. Her practice encompasses industrial design, architecture, interiors and art direction, including collaborations with Moroso, Flos, Driade and Cappellini.
