Moroso Clarissa includes lounge and dining chairs plus a footstool by Patricia Urquiola with angular, padded profiles.
The lounge chair swivels on painted steel or an oak-covered base; a zip-attached front quilt detaches while the shell covering remains fixed. The dining version uses oak legs beneath a padded steel-framed seat. A separate ottoman has a foam-covered resin body on a fixed steel base, preserving the shaped outline without the chair's movement.
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She worked with Vico Magistretti and Lissoni before opening her Milan studio in 2001. Her practice encompasses industrial design, architecture, interiors and art direction, including collaborations with Moroso, Flos, Driade and Cappellini.
