Armchairs and side tables.
Moroso Armada pairs a low-back lounge chair with companion tables by Doshi & Levien for lounge and open work settings.
Cold-injected polyurethane surrounds the chair's internal steel frame, with fixed upholstery above powder-coated steel legs. The tables use tubular-steel bases beneath circular glass or Alpi-veneered MDF tops. Different tabletop diameters and frame heights provide alternative surface proportions alongside the shaped upholstered seat.
Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien established their design studio in 2000 after studying at London's Royal College of Art. Their work combines Doshi's research into Indian visual culture and craft with Levien's industrial design experience. Projects explore the relationship between technology, storytelling, materials and manufacturing.
