Moroso Arco includes outdoor chairs, a low table and a suspended cocoon by Martino Gamper within M'Afrique.
Polyethylene threads are handwoven around painted-steel frames, with contrasting woven sections following the curves. Seating ranges from an open chair to a tall armchair with a flared upper back. The table carries the arches into its supports, while the cocoon draws tensioned woven surfaces around a rounded hanging seat.
Martino Gamper began as a furniture-making apprentice in Merano, studied sculpture in Vienna and completed the Royal College of Art's Design Products course in 2000. Based in London, he works across furniture, interiors and exhibitions. His projects include the experimental 100 Chairs in 100 Days series.
