Console tables and bookcases.
Driade Zigzag includes Konstantin Grcic’s open bookcase and lower console-height shelving.
Slender metal uprights and long horizontal shelves form a repeating grid for books and display objects. Painted-steel versions sit alongside combinations of bronze-colored metal with oak or walnut shelves. The 201 cm bookcase can organize a wall or stand within a room, while the 88 cm console carries the same exposed structure into a lower storage format.
Konstantin Grcic is an industrial designer whose work includes the Parrish seating collection for Emeco. Developed for the Parrish Art Museum in Long Island, the project combines his design approach with the manufacturer's aluminum production experience. He has also designed lighting for Flos and furniture for Driade.
