Flos Noctambule includes Konstantin Grcic’s floor lamps and suspensions assembled from transparent blown-glass cylinders.
Illuminated rings connect the modules, outlining the columns with warm 2700K LED light. Low and high cylinders create different proportions, with cone or bowl elements changing the ends of selected compositions. Floor designs stand on aluminum bases with pedal dimmers; suspended versions place their power supply and compatible dimming equipment in the ceiling canopy.
Konstantin Grcic is an industrial designer whose work includes the Parrish seating collection for Emeco. Developed for the Parrish Art Museum in Long Island, the project combines his design approach with the manufacturer's aluminum production experience. He has also designed lighting for Flos and furniture for Driade.
