Dining chairs and outdoor dining furniture.
Driade Sof Sof includes Enzo Mari’s indoor chair and an outdoor version, both pairing an open steel frame with padded seat and back cushions.
Nine curved steel-rod rings define the indoor design’s structure, with removable fabric or microperforated leather covers over polyurethane padding. The outdoor model carries the exposed frame and separate cushion arrangement into exterior seating. Its specified upholstery and painted metal construction distinguish it from the indoor covering choices.
Enzo Mari worked across graphics, design and architecture, combining product work with research and teaching. His furniture for Driade includes the Sof Sof chair, Elisa seating and Frate tables. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Venice Biennale, Milan Triennale and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
