Driade Elisa includes armchairs and two- and three-seat sofas designed by Enzo Mari.
Rounded upholstered cushions sit within visible steel sled frames, creating a clear separation between the padded upper body and the metal support. Polyurethane foam and polyester fiber provide the padding, with removable fabric upholstery on the included seating. Different widths extend the same exposed construction from an individual chair to a coordinated indoor sofa arrangement.
Enzo Mari worked across graphics, design and architecture, combining product work with research and teaching. His furniture for Driade includes the Sof Sof chair, Elisa seating and Frate tables. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Venice Biennale, Milan Triennale and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
