Sofas and armchairs.
Moroso Karmakoma includes sofas and a broad armchair by Edward van Vliet within the Sushi collection.
Squared upholstered bodies frame independent cushions, with contrasting textile panels defining the arms, sides and bases. Polyurethane and polyester padding cover wooden structures. Two three-seat sofa widths offer different overall proportions above varnished beech feet, while the armchair concentrates the layered textile arrangement into one seat. Main covers stay fixed; cushion coverings detach.
Edward van Vliet is a Dutch designer working through his own studio in product and interior design. His projects cover hospitality, residential and office settings. The practice combines varied visual references with detailed development and collaboration with furniture brands and manufacturers.
