Moroso Josephine includes sofas, face-to-face seating and backless benches by Gordon Guillaumier.
Rounded padded sections form separate arms and backs around the sofa seats, recalling overlapping flower petals. Polyurethane and polyester padding cover wooden structures raised on exposed wooden feet. Two- and three-seat sofa formats provide different lengths and orientations, while the benches carry the same rounded edges into long open seats with fixed upholstery.
Gordon Guillaumier studied industrial design at IED and Domus Academy in Milan. After working with Baleri Associati and Rodolfo Dordoni, he established his own studio in 2002. His practice includes products, interiors, consultancy and art direction for furniture and other design companies.
