Moroso Double Zero includes chairs and stools by David Adjaye with circular padded seats and backs held in exposed tubular-steel frames.
Polyurethane-covered plywood panels create the two round surfaces above slender bracing. Stool versions offer counter and bar seat heights, with armed or armless frames and integrated footrests. Chrome-plated finishes change the visible metal treatment, while fixed upholstery keeps the circular panels distinct from their supporting structure.
David Adjaye founded Adjaye Associates in 2000. His architectural practice has worked on projects ranging from furniture to urban planning. Buildings include the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC, with research informed by art, civic life and cultural context.
