Sectionals and ottomans.
Moooi BFF includes Marcel Wanders’ modular sofa and matching footstool with deep geometric upholstery lines.
Wooden frames, steel springs and foam support the padded surfaces. Two- and three-seat elements, chaise lounges and different arm arrangements combine into varied sofa layouts, with the final footprint determined by the composition. The square footstool repeats the enlarged buttoned-upholstery pattern as a companion piece, with coverings chosen to coordinate with the seating.
Marcel Wanders is a designer from Boxtel in the Netherlands. His Knotted Chair for Droog Design brought international attention to his work in 1996. He has collaborated with furniture manufacturers across Europe, developing objects that draw on historical references, cultural differences and decorative traditions.
