Moooi Perch includes Umut Yamac’s table, floor, wall and suspended bird lights.
Synthetic paper and polycarbonate form the folded birds, supported by steel and aluminum perches; each illuminated bird can sway when touched. Single-bird lamps sit alongside Branch and Tree compositions with multiple light elements. Integrated warm-white LEDs provide the illumination, with dimming on specified suspended models and separate switch or non-dimmable arrangements for the other formats.
Umut Yamac is a British architect and designer who graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture in 2009 and established his studio in 2011. His objects and installations explore movement and interaction, often drawing on nature. Physical prototypes and workshop experiments are central to his development process.

We show Moooi by appointment at both showrooms — Royal Oak on Woodward and Troy at the Michigan Design Center. Call ahead and we'll have samples and finishes pulled and waiting.
