Pendants.
Moooi Heracleum includes Bertjan Pot’s branching LED pendants with leaf-shaped polycarbonate lenses.
Conductive layers power the lights through fine metal structures, keeping the branches open. Suspended, Linear and Big O models provide clustered, elongated and circular compositions, while Endless units connect into longer runs and turns. The Heracleum III versions use DALI or optional wireless dimming; the specific controls and additional devices are selected for the chosen arrangement.
Bertjan Pot develops objects through experiments with materials, structures and production techniques. His Random Light began as a material study in 1999, and his studio also produces masks and other interior objects. Collaborations with manufacturers turn these experiments into developed products.
