Pendants and floor lamps.
Moooi Random / Non Random / NR2 brings together Bertjan Pot’s related open-fiber lighting designs.
Fiberglass bonded with epoxy resin forms the shades, from Random Light II’s irregular sphere to Non Random’s more ordered lattice and NR2’s oval web. Random and Non Random pendants use replaceable bulbs, while NR2 includes integrated-LED pendants and a floor lamp. Different sizes and dedicated controls accompany each model, preserving their distinct structures within the shared material exploration.
Bertjan Pot develops objects through experiments with materials, structures and production techniques. His Random Light began as a material study in 1999, and his studio also produces masks and other interior objects. Collaborations with manufacturers turn these experiments into developed products.
