Emeco Stool pairs a round seat with a square aluminum structure in a design by Philippe Starck.
The backless form comes in a low version plus counter and bar heights, maintaining the same geometric relationship at each scale. The stools are handcrafted from recycled aluminum and are offered with different surface treatments. Separate fitted pads introduce fabric, leather or leather-alternative upholstery, including dedicated outdoor fabrics. Replacement feet are matched to stool height and floor type.
Philippe Starck's collaboration with Emeco began after he used the manufacturer's Navy chairs in the Paramount Hotel. The partnership produced collections including Hudson, Heritage, Kong, Icon and Broom. These projects are part of his broader furniture design work and explore industrial materials and production methods.
