Side tables.
Driade Ping includes Giuseppe Chigiotti’s Ping I catchall table and Ping II side table.
Both use polished aluminum, with slender stems widening into flared bases below compact tops. Ping I adds a shallow recessed surface for keys and small pocket items, while Ping II provides a simple occasional surface. Their shared 50 cm height and freestanding construction connect the tray-like function of one with the side-table role of the other.
Giuseppe Chigiotti works across design, architecture and urban planning. A former professor at the Politecnico di Milano, he has written extensively about furniture and domestic spaces. His relationship with Driade began with writing and expanded to product design, including tableware, lamps, the Ping tables and the Mak trolley.
