Moooi Silk Bombis includes carpets, wallcovering, a bed scarf and kimono with watercolor-like floral imagery.
The carpets use polyamide pile over polypropylene backing, with round and rectangular formats. The wallcovering carries abstract flowers through a fine fil-à-fil texture that recalls raw silk, while the separate scarf uses viscose. A wrap-front kimono extends the printed theme into clothing, using the same watercolor-like motif as a loose textile layer.
Moooi's internal product development team contributes designs alongside the company's external designers. The team researches materials and product ideas and develops objects for the Moooi collection.
