Moooi Peaks includes Yves Béhar’s transformable indoor and outdoor seating built from fabric-covered foam triangles.
Concealed hinges and zippers link the sections, allowing raised backs to fold into a flatter lounging surface. Seater and longer Lounger formats provide different footprints within the geometric construction. The outdoor version uses weather-resistant covering, while the indoor design has its own fabric specifications, keeping the folding principle shared and the material choice appropriate to the setting.
Yves Béhar founded fuseproject, a San Francisco design and innovation studio. His product work includes the Herman Miller Sayl Chair and Samsung Frame television. His designs are represented in collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
