Moooi No Screw No Glue includes Joost van Bleiswijk’s buffet and tall cabinet assembled from interlocking panels.
Lacquered Richlite, a paper-and-resin composite, gives the components their rigid structure and visible framed edges. The low buffet combines enclosed central storage with open end shelves, while the taller cabinet places shelving above a two-door base. Sliding connections define both designs, and the assembled tall cabinet requires a wall fixing for its installed position.
Joost van Bleiswijk studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven. His practice centers on making and construction, using workshop experiments to develop objects and furniture. Historical furniture and other familiar forms provide starting points for investigations into how individual parts come together.
