Moooi Hana includes Simone Bonanni’s lounge chairs, dining chairs and stools with petal-like curved backs.
Lounge armchairs use folded upholstery over foam and metal structures, with low or winged backs and fixed or swivel bases. Dining chairs and counter or bar stools pair upholstered or uncovered molded shells with slender steel legs. Selected dining bases allow stacking, while stool footrests and different seat heights adapt the related forms to higher surfaces.
Simone Bonanni graduated from IED in Milan in 2011 and worked with Marcel Wanders in Amsterdam as a product designer and project leader. He founded his own Milan studio in 2015. His practice develops manufactured products and limited editions for international design brands.
