Moooi Flying Coral Fish includes raw-silk decorative pillow covers and textured wallcovering based on an imaginary winged creature.
Embroidery, quilting and flocked details give the pillows different front-and-reverse patterns. The wallcovering instead uses raised wing-like forms across a textile face with a satin-like sheen and nonwoven backing. Its free-match pattern carries the motif over a broad wall, while the pillow formats provide smaller stitched interpretations for a sofa or bed.
Moooi's internal product development team contributes designs alongside the company's external designers. The team researches materials and product ideas and develops objects for the Moooi collection.
