Decorative objects and cushions.
Moooi Blooming Seadragon includes decorative pillow covers, a wool blanket and flocked wallcovering inspired by an imaginary leaf-like creature.
Printed velvet and embroidered raw-silk pillow versions use different techniques to depict its form. The jacquard-woven New Zealand wool blanket reverses its colors when turned over, while the nonwoven wallcovering repeats leaf-like motifs across a larger surface. These distinct textiles connect bedding, seating accents and wall decoration through the same illustrated theme.
Moooi's internal product development team contributes designs alongside the company's external designers. The team researches materials and product ideas and develops objects for the Moooi collection.
