Table lamps.
FontanaArte Bilia is Gio Ponti’s family of table lamps balancing a white glass sphere on a tapered metal cone.
The standard corded lamp provides dimmable light, while Bilia Mini reduces the geometry to a smaller format with an on/off switch. Bilia Mini Portable uses a rechargeable LED source, adjustable brightness and USB-C charging. The shared sphere-and-cone outline carries across the range, with power supply and controls specific to each version.
Gio Ponti was an architect and designer whose work also encompassed painting, graphics and set design. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he helped establish FontanaArte with Pietro Chiesa in 1932. His designs for the company include the Bilia, 0024 and Pirellone lamps, alongside furniture and architectural projects.
