FontanaArte Parola includes table, floor, wall and pendant lamps by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni.
Rounded blown-glass shades provide diffused light, with amber or white glass changing the appearance of the upper form. Table and floor models use transparent borosilicate stems and beveled glass bases, while wall and pendant versions use their own metal supports. Dimming is available across the formats, bringing the shared glass shape to several positions within a room.
Gae Aulenti worked across architecture, interiors, industrial design and theater sets after graduating from the Politecnico di Milano. Appointed FontanaArte's artistic director in 1979, she designed the Giova lamp and Tavolo con Ruote table. Her architectural projects include the transformation of Paris's Musée d'Orsay and the renovation of Palazzo Grassi in Venice.

He graduated in Milan in 1970 and worked with his father, Livio, on architectural lighting and fixtures. His work for FontanaArte includes the Scintilla system and the Parola collection designed with Gae Aulenti.
