Flos Superarchimoon includes Philippe Starck’s large articulated floor lamps for indoor and outdoor settings.
Aluminum arms and spring-supported joints carry a broad shade, expanding the adjustable task-lamp structure to room scale. The indoor version pairs pleated fabric with a hand-blown glass diffuser and cable dimming. The separate outdoor design uses woven PVC around an opal polycarbonate diffuser, with IP55 protection and a dedicated connection box for the exterior installation.
Philippe Starck's collaboration with Emeco began after he used the manufacturer's Navy chairs in the Paramount Hotel. The partnership produced collections including Hudson, Heritage, Kong, Icon and Broom. These projects are part of his broader furniture design work and explore industrial materials and production methods.
