Adelaide Vase, 30 cm
This Adelaide vase by Driade is the 30 cm upright interpretation of Xie Dong’s pleated ceramic forms.
Handmade in white bone china, its gathered surface rises into an uneven open rim, giving the vessel the appearance of folded cloth. The tall body emphasizes the changing depth of the pleats as they wrap around the vase. Model code: DA510A1007002.

Xie Dong
Xie Dong is a Beijing-born artist and designer whose work explores materials, movement and the relationship between weight and lightness. Ceramic techniques are central to this practice, including methods that create rippled and pleated surfaces. Designs for Driade bring these experiments into functional objects linked to Chinese craft traditions.
